Access to Tōka-an

Tōka-an is located in Uji, Kyoto, in a quiet traditional area near the Uji River.

From Kyoto Station Take the JR Nara Line from JR Kyoto Station to JR Uji Station.
From JR Uji Station, it is about a 25-minute walk to Tōka-an.
From Keihan Uji Station From Keihan Uji Station, it is about a 15-minute walk to Tōka-an.

Meeting Point for Guided Experiences

For guided experiences, we usually meet guests at Keihan Uji Station.

For guided experiences, we usually meet guests at Keihan Uji Station. Please note that this is Keihan Uji Station, not JR Uji Station.

For experiences without a guide, guests will meet us at the bottom of Kotosaka slope near Kōshō-ji Temple, a quiet entrance to one of Uji’s most beautiful temple paths.
